Engleza de joi/ Trek

Trek = a trip or movement especially when involving difficulties or complex organization.

“A man’s work is nothing but this slow trek to rediscover, through the detours of art, those two or three great and simple images in whose presence his heart first opened.” – Albert Camus

Art by Charles Courtney Curran.

She is primarily a teacher of English. Also her mind is lured by goodies like finance, economics, interest rates, the stock market, as she has a hankering for how the money is made. Nevertheless she is a dreamer on a cloud...As dreams cost nothing... On ordinary days she is a word-weaver for everything and everything that breathes. On the best of days she just follows the seasons by means of bike, skis, or roller-skates. She is grateful to all colors of the world and to people who read, smile and drop a line here, or on her email. Contributing author for 5 Medium.com publications, Spillwords.com and Anthology Volume I: Writings from the Sudden Denouement Literary Collective.

I love Thursday mornings! Our trek this morning over the moor was not so onerous – no frost/ice and quite a lot of blue sky. P’s eyes were blue too which signals fair weather (better than a barometer or the BBC forecasts). As always great quote and superb art from you – I can’t now imagine Thursday mornings without them. ❣️

Thank you, dear Roger 🙂 I have traveled with you and P vicariously, I do love the sight of the moors under the blue sky. I noticed P’s beautiful eyes, did not know about the other perks 🙂
What can I say, Albert Camus has ensnared me since I first laid eyes on Exile and the Kingdom. I sometimes feel betrothed with his words.

Camus is my favorite existentialist (even if he didn’t like that label).

Your words are stardust, they shine and sparkle in my heart. Thank you!

heating and scorching
