Wear scarlet!

Wear scarlet! Tear the green lemons
off the tree! I don’t want
to forget who I am, what has burned in me,
and hang limp and clean, an empty dress.”
Denise Levertov

Art by Daniel F. Gerhartz.

She is primarily a teacher of English. Also her mind is lured by goodies like finance, economics, interest rates, the stock market, as she has a hankering for how the money is made. Nevertheless she is a dreamer on a cloud...As dreams cost nothing... In ordinary days she is a word-weaver for everything and everything that breathes. In the best of days she just follows the seasons by means of bike, skis, or roller-skates. She is grateful to all colors of the world and to people who read, smile and drop a line here, or on her email. Odd you should post that quotation this morning. Another ‘coincidence’? You can decide when I finish the post I began earlier this morning, probably much later today. One thing I have in common with Dernise Levertov: I too in later life have decided that beauty and poetry cannot go together with politics.

Odd that I changed the post. I wanted to post something else. “Coincidence” :).
      You and Denise are right.
Earlier in my life I was invited to join politics. I thought then it could be an adventure. I like people and giving speeches. But out of a sudden I changed my mind.
Anyway out of that adventure I remain with a dream of starting something about political marketing. Maybe later 🙂
      Thank you Roger!
