Engleza de joi/ Eccentric

Eccentric = unconventional and slightly strange.

“Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric.” – Bertrand Russell

Art by Michael Cheval.

She is primarily a teacher of English. Also her mind is lured by goodies like finance, economics, interest rates, the stock market, as she has a hankering for how the money is made. Nevertheless she is a dreamer on a cloud...As dreams cost nothing... On ordinary days she is a word-weaver for everything and everything that breathes. On the best of days she just follows the seasons by means of bike, skis, or roller-skates. She is grateful to all colors of the world and to people who read, smile and drop a line here, or on her email. I think many people might say I am just that. I love ‘eccentrics’. Some decades ago Prince Charles was labelled as such. Now his views on ‘natural’ foods and the importance of looking after our environment is considered normal (except maybe by Trump!).
Great picture. Is that you on your bike? I think so, riding through Herestrau on a lovely autumn morning.

Thank you! I agree with the many people in their opinion about you. I love “eccentrics” for the courage to keep their ideas alive.
It could be me, but my attire is not that eccentric 🙂 Sorry for responding so late, I was cycling in Herastrau. It was a lovely autumn afternoon. I have always loved the autumn light. Brighter but tenderer than the summer rays.

Well afternoon then😘❣️I think I said before I never liked București much but Herăstrău (I see I spelt it wrongly but it is a long time ago) was an exception along with another park the name of which I cannot remember.

❤ Herăstrău is the most beautiful park. I love every inch of it and every squirrel. I know all of them by name because I bring them walnuts in winter 🙂 Also the lake is beautiful, it is like a small sea to me.
Maybe the other park was Cismigiu, the oldest park in Bucharest.
I am sending you a beautiful day and a lot of sun!

My manager says that I’m eccentric but highly effective at my work. Guess the eccentric people like me have a unique method to their madness that escape the chambers of cognizance of others ☺️

I do believe there is method to our unique madness which is the measure of our eccentricity. Everybody is different but not everybody can accept being the one that stands up from the crown. Which is not all the time a story of success, but a story of resilience and supporting one’s ideas at all cots. Keeping ideas alive is hard but what is life but a mosaic of would-be beautiful ideas. 🙂
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Yes the world would certainly be beautiful that way with a mosaic of would-be beautiful ideas. Although this seems as a mere desirable dream especially with the way humans have transformed into insensitive beasts, so till the time we don’t embrace compassion and mutually respect each other’s individuality I urge you to continue to write & share your beautiful words, that way a hope for a beautiful world regenerates in a majestic way ☺️

Your words are stardust, they shine and sparkle in my heart. Thank you!
