Love is the fifth season

Love is the fifth season
It starts in March
With shines of longer days,
guarding the waters more.

It moves along with
greens and joys of May.
It flourishes above the lilacs
And with you I sleep
Amidst lilies-of-the-valley…

It drifts down July dusks
Colored in bluish touches.
……………………………………………
October is the beginning of times
Cutting edges and bringing back
Memories of youth.
Now it is the season to embrace
The truth…

This is an old poem from year 2015.

Art by Viktor Vasnetsov.

She is primarily a teacher of English. Also her mind is lured by goodies like finance, economics, interest rates, the stock market, as she has a hankering for how the money is made. Nevertheless she is a dreamer on a cloud...As dreams cost nothing... On ordinary days she is a word-weaver for everything and everything that breathes. On the best of days she just follows the seasons by means of bike, skis, or roller-skates. She is grateful to all colors of the world and to people who read, smile and drop a line here, or on her email. 8. Tis the season for love Iulia. I admire the simplicity of your poem. Read (as in red) through your comments for additional insights too. For me the wonder of Shakespeare and all that alias name contains is a language for the soul and of the soul but not merely a soul. It is my intention to frequent your site more often.
    Love & light,

Thank you very much! Simple is better, I hope, as we cannot oversimplify life, at least words should follow a simple pattern. I think 🙂
If I can “plagiarise” the words of a titan of literature about another titan: “All modern literature comes from Shakespeare” and maybe the old ways are not that old….Miranda is one of the most beautiful names 🙂
Thank you again for reading ❤
    Love, light and laughter,
    Iulia

  10. Let us toast to Miranda then, the soft and gentle, yet thunderous and brilliant flame, that which is worthy of such a lovely name. =)

Your words are stardust, they shine and sparkle in my heart. Thank you!

“Language is not like the sun,
heating and scorching
but like the moon
keeping secrets
and the arcane magic of the night
throwing stars
in the lilacs’ claws
till dawn.” -Iulia Halatz
