The dinosaur in me writes the Iron Tales or ruminates about feeling nothing in the Equilibrium, when he is grumpy and scared. The Tyrannosaurus writing shapes all, sometimes in a no-win situation, sometimes in a win-win situation. A no-win is when you write for herbivores, and win-win when you write for your own kind. They understand. You write about something they would wanna have or feel at least for once in their lives. Being grumpy and a T-Rex saves a lot of trouble when your writings hit judgmental walls. Your skull endures…

My view of psychological (instead of physical) time travel, **if possible**, is that God would only permit connections/knowledge that are for the good. So if seeing what’s going to be big in the stock market in the next 10 years would not be good for a person, God would not give them such insight! But I’d still like to do it! xxx 🙂 And yes, you are fun and interesting too!

You are right and also I agree with the fact that God may speed up the wrong times and “leisure down” the good 🙂 Under no circumstances God might permit such insight as the stock market is a zero-sum game, my good is your bad, or my gain is your loss…With the risk of sounding like a groupie 🙂 I have to agree more with you, I’d still like to do it! 🙂

Thought provoking post! I was just thinking about what may or may not be good for a given person’s spiritual development. I wasn’t thinking sociologically. The idea that one person’s monetary gain necessitates another’s loss is something I haven’t thought about too much, except for on a general level of stratification, etc. Surely there must be “win-win” situations in finance??

Thank you very much for your interesting insight 🙂 You make me think a little bit more than I usually do 😉 The zero-sum game is entirely dedicated to stock markets which are “perfect”. I invest in some shares because I want to have a return on my investment, so if the price of that particular stock raises, I will have a profitable investment, but if it decreases, I will lose, consequently the person who has bet against my prediction will win… Sometimes life is a win-win situation, when people with “trendy” ideas decide to share them ❤ Also bonds and starting up a business 🙂

I often think that if I could do it all again that I would have taken investing courses instead of the humanities. But alas, I needed the humanities to make sense of my ever changing world — inside and outside. Now, coming up to my 55th birthday, one of my biggest concerns is financial stability. It’s probably good to learn the trade for yourself. Investment counsellors might do better than a bank but if they were *really* good, would they still be working as investment counsellors? 😊💟🐒
